Export a CSV from your broker, drop it in, and get round-trip trades, an equity curve, tag-based journaling, and 60+ metrics. Every one is defined the standard way, and any number that can't be computed honestly is absent rather than estimated.
No credit card required for the trial. FillJournal is in beta: new features ship frequently, and your feedback shapes them.Webull, Robinhood, and Fidelity importers built in, plus a generic CSV column-mapper that handles any broker on earth in one mapping step. Duplicate imports are detected, never double-counted.
Fills become trades the way trading desks think about them: grouped per instrument, closed when the position returns to flat. Scale-ins, options multipliers, and fills that cross through flat are handled correctly.
An expiration isn't an order, so most journals silently miss it. FillJournal settles expired options at intrinsic value, and tells you when a settlement is an assumption rather than a verified fact.
Notes and tags on any trade: setups, mistakes, whatever you name. Filter every view by tag and get a per-tag performance report, so "how does my breakout setup actually do" is one click.
Profit factor, expectancy, Kelly, SQN, drawdown, streaks, hold-time and size breakdowns. Each has a plain-English tooltip explaining what it means and what a good number looks like.
Eleven breakdown dimensions, a month-by-month P&L calendar heatmap, and a where's-my-edge snapshot. One filter bar drives every view.
Download your order or activity CSV, the same file every broker already gives you. No account linking, no passwords shared.
Pick your broker (or map columns once for any other). Preview exactly what will be imported before committing anything.
Equity curve, win rate by setup, hold-time breakdowns, tag reports, and a journal that survives re-imports.
Our rule: a metric that can't be computed honestly is absent, not estimated. Broker order data has no intraday bars, so we don't fake MAE/MFE. It has no starting balance, so we don't invent an account-return percentage. Journals that guess that denominator report figures like 3,457,320% account return. We'd rather show you nothing than that. Every metric on the dashboard is computed from closed trades only, and reconciles to the cent against the reference exports we validated on.
Webull, Robinhood, and Fidelity have dedicated importers. Every other broker works through the generic CSV importer: upload the file, map the columns once (we auto-guess the common ones), preview, commit.
No. FillJournal is importer-first: you upload the export files your broker already produces. No brokerage credentials ever touch our servers.
Your data stays yours and stays viewable: every dashboard, report, and journal entry keeps working. Importing new trades is the paid feature.
The core journal (imports, the trade engine, analytics, journaling, billing) is complete and tested. Beta means the app is evolving quickly and you'll see new features often. There's a feedback form inside the app; requests genuinely drive the roadmap.
Yes. Your trades are yours. Contact us from your account email and the account and every trade in it are removed.
